Cancellation Policy
CosmicStays.com Cancellation Policy
- Standard Cancellation Policy: For any new reservation, you can cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, provided that the check-in date is at least 30 days away. This does not apply to same-day bookings or reservations made within 30 days of the check-in date.
- Cancellation 45-30 Days Prior to Check-in: For cancellations made between 45 and 30 days before the check-in date, an 80% refund will be given, minus any applicable processing fees.
- Cancellation 30-15 Days Prior to Check-in: For cancellations made between 30 and 15 days before the check-in date, a 50% refund will be given, minus any applicable processing fees.
- Cancellation 15 Days or Less Prior to Check-in: No refunds will be given for cancellations made 15 days or less before the check-in date, unless otherwise specified under extenuating circumstances.
- Long Weekends and Peak Dates: No refunds will be given during check-in or stay on long weekends and peak dates. For 2025, this includes the following Indian holidays that create long weekends:
- Christmas & New Years Eve: 25th - 31st December 2024
- Pongal & Makar Sankranti: 11th - 14th January 2025
- Holi & Holika Dahana: 13th - 16th March 2025
- Eid-Ul-Fitar: 29th - 31st March 2025
- Mahavir Jayanti & Vaisakhi: 10th - 13th April 2025
- Good Friday & Easter: 18th - 20th April 2025
- Buddha Purnima: 10th - 12th May 2025
- Independence Day & Janmashtami: 15th - 17th August 2025
- Onam & Eid Milad-un-Nabi: 4th - 7th September 2025
- Maha Navami, Dussehra & Mahatma Gandhi Jayanti: 1st - 5th October 2025
- Diwali & Bhai Dooj: 18th - 20th October and 23rd - 26th October 2025
- Christmas & New Years Eve: 25th - 31st December 2025
- Date Change/Rescheduling Policy:
- Guests can request a date change if the new check-in date is at least 45 days away from the day of the request.
- Rescheduling is not applicable for bookings made for long weekends or peak dates.
- Rescheduling must be used for the same property where the original booking was made.
- The rescheduled amount can only be applied to the villa booking cost and not for any additional services or amenities.
- If the tariff for the new dates is higher than the original booking tariff, the difference must be paid to confirm the new dates.
- Force Majeure: CosmicStays is not liable for cancellations or interruptions caused by events beyond our control, including but not limited to natural disasters, government restrictions, pandemics, or other emergencies. In such cases, refunds or credits may be offered at CosmicStays' discretion.
- No Show: No refunds will be given for no-shows. Guests are advised to inform us of any delays in arrival to prevent the reservation from being marked as a no-show.
- Cancellation by CosmicStays: In the event that CosmicStays cancels a reservation due to unforeseen circumstances, guests will be given a full credit for future bookings, valid for 12 months, or a refund back to their original payment method within 7-10 working days.
Important Notes:
- It is the guests' responsibility to ensure compliance with local travel and health regulations before their stay.
- Processing fees may apply for all refunds, as per payment gateway policies.
- We recommend purchasing travel insurance to cover unexpected changes or cancellations.
